Animae Via is an ongoing discernment group for individuals who are reflecting on God’s call in their lives and are considering the possibility of priesthood or religious life. We start with dinner next door at Chili's then we move to the chapel for prayer, reflection, discussion, and guided prayer. Vocation Awareness Weekend at St. John Vianney College Seminary

March 12-13, 2010 (Depart Friday afternoon 4 p.m.; Return Sunday evening 6 p.m.)

Take a weekend to visit St. John Vianney College Seminary in Miami for a Vocation Awareness Weekend. We will depart Friday afternoon by chartered bus (about 4:00 p.m.) from Tampa/St. Petersburg. This weekend will give you a first hand experience of seminary life. Whether you have visited the seminary before or this is your first time, this weekend no doubt will help your personal discernment. Take the time to explore and answer those questions that are already within your heart. Transportation will be provided and there is no charge for the weekend. Don’t miss this opportunity! Bishop's Annual Cookout for Inquirers and Seminarians
June 3, 2010 (location - tba) 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Each year at the begining opf the summer, Bishop Lynch hosts a cookout for our seminarians as well as for those who are looking into the possibility of the priesthood.  It is avery informal setting in which everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature and to see what is involved on the road to priesthood.  We pray evening prayer together and reflect on what it is that God is asking.  For more information or to reserve your spot, please contact Fr.
